What
Water precipitation is how water freezes, becomes rain, turns into hail and becomes snow, turns into an Icicle and becomes slush. Water freezes when it gets colder than 32º fahrenheit or 0º celsius. It can either already be on the ground like a pond or a lake, or it could fall from the sky as rain. Water becomes rain when the heat from the sun causes it to evaporate from the tops of lakes, oceans, and ponds. Hail is a large frozen rail drop formed by an intense thunderstorm. Water becomes snow when it changes from a liquid state to a solid state which is when it freezes when this happens in clouds it falls as ice crystals, also known as snow. Water becomes an icicle when it hits a roof and it is 0º or below. Water becomes slush when frozen ice melts in the cloud.
